August 2006 meeting:

Our August meeting was hosted by The Aquatic Critter. Going above and beyond, the Critter donated a few items to be given away in a raffle, not to mention the 25% discount on everything in the store!

Lindsey Huffines walked away with an AquaC Remora Nano skimmer. Ryan Steagall was drawn for a set of LED moonlights, and Gary Flatness received a Typhoon skimmer. (Several of us think the raffle was rigged! j/k Gary)

To further the generosity, the AC brought in loads of pizza, cookies and drinks for everyone.

After we were all fat and happy, Gary demonstrated how to frag a Millepora and a Blastomusa. Both corals were very nice specimens and everyone walked away with a nice sized frag of each.

It was a great time, and we owe a HUGE "thank you" to Chris and the Aquatic Critter for hosting our meeting, and we all look forward to the next one.
